KrisB very nice tractor but I don't think you would be able to walk into your dealer and ask for the PTO bearing. You can change it, but I think you have to go to a bearing house to pick up a new one.

Jeff great looking Tractor. The 1211 is a rather rare tractor. I can't even recall seeing a pic of one let alone one in person. be sure to take good care of it.

AJ

If you need the bearing part number let me know. Yeah i don't think you can get it from cub. Bearing place should have it on the shelf.

Default I split the difference

I painted my 1812 in the red/black color scheme. I also use mine for plowing snow,My driveway is about 300'x20' and at times'I have had my doubts, but, it always gets it done. :biggrin2.gif:

Thanks for the tip on the bearing guys and thanks for the compliments.

Teet that sounds like a awesome idea. I would love a Kabota powered tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
