This would be a lot quicker to attach to use for moving trailers or other things.

One of those hitches from Extreme has been on my wish list for a while. The home built hitch that I just took off is much more beefy that a sleeve hitch / three point arrangement could be. It is also very close to the height of a car or truck hitch. I'll probably get that eventually, but keep this one around if I ever need a more heavy duty setup. This thing could easily support much more weight than the tractor can safely manage.

An update. The 149 is running good. I have worked out most of the issues. I bought a front blade and three point hitch for it. I swapped the tires and wheel weights from my 125. I even washed it yesterday. It cleans up pretty good.
The day I brought it home. ![]() ![]() ![]() After some fixin' and some cleaning. ![]() ![]() ![]() I am very happy with it. Happy enough that the 125 is now for sale. I have post in the classifieds if anybody is interested.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
