This guy has no idea what this is or what it fits. He says he THINKS it came off of the smallest garden tractor or the biggest lawn mower. He actually tried to tell me that they build them to fit most models, so it should fit whatever I want to put it on.

It looks like a model 190-450-100 to me, but it should be 45" not 44 like the seller states. I have a dealer attatchment guide, and the one pictured, looks identical to the blower in the auction. Hopefully someone else can confirm this who has one.
good luck Jeff (teet) |

That could also be a 451. The 450 works on all 82 series tractors up through the early cyclops tractors with the smaller PTO clutches (basically before they started using V-twins) and then after that, they increased the size of the PTO clutch, and changed the gear ratio, making it a 451. The 451 will turn too slow on the models the 450 is designed for.

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna pass on it. I'd like a blower for by 782, but I'm not gonna drive half way across the state just to find out it won't work on my tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
