Good evening, great site here and I don't know where to or how to post a thread, so here's what we have due to my father-in-law having to go to a nursing home, and we are not tractor collectors. We have an IH Cub Cadet 1450 Serial # 2050660u614069, with a 42" front blade, roto tiller, mower deck, one bottom plow, and a sack full of new belts. The motor as far as we know is original and runs pretty darn good. We are cleaning the house/garages out and my wife is going to put the whole works in a yard sale. I would appreciate any ideas you guys in the know think we should ask for this stuff. I live in Coal Valley IL about 3 miles from the Moline airport. Thank you guys, I'm sure this is not the place to post such things. I do have several pics of the tractor and attachments if I can figure out how to post them. I should have added that this equipment is in an estate and we really don't want to part pieces out. We would like to sell it all as one lot. Thank you, Mike

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
