Finally got the time to take some pics of my repainted 680. It sat in peices for 3 months and now its ready to go terrorize the neighberhood again. The red side panel is not painted. Im still figureing out where i want to put my stack at, out that side panel or out the top of the hood. Any opinions?

Looks really nice, interesting deck setup.
I can't imagine that going out the top of the hood would be very convenient. Would you have to remove the stack every time you opened it?

Ya I would have to take it off every time I wanted to open the hood. But you don't really have to open the hood to put gas in an 82 series unless its a Deisel.

You don't even have to on a diesel because the tank is under the seat

Looks great! Nice work.
I'd generally try to avoid putting large holes where the factory didn't. But that's just me. John

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
