First off is it a refrigerator or an ice box?
I’m guessing a refrigerator, and visually it appears made in the ‘30’s
If it is a “frig” look to see if there are any markings on the compressor or model ## under the unit.
If it is an ice box, I have no clue as most of them were replaced when I was young, as electricity became available.

As I remember it:
Ah, no, Sears & Robuck was a deadly competor to Montgomery Ward.
The only posibility was a "supplier" possibly built for the both of them.
(and that did happen quite often)
The "ward" badge does not appear to look like the Montgomery Ward logo per say.
( could be wrong there)
In them days Montgomery Ward as well as Sears Robuck most always displayed both their names on their products or had a line name like "Homart" or "Signature" or "Hotpoint" "JC Higgins"
"Western field"etc.etc.
In later years Montgomery Ward tended to go with the single name "Ward"
As a lot of folks refered to them as "monkies" or monkie/wards
Sears Robuck did the same thing going with Sears.

Those were the good old days, the air was dirty, sex was clean
and the war was over.
Everybody had a job and gasoline was 5 gallons for a dollar!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
