Default Front wheel bearings for 1811

I am trying to find someone who has the correct front wheel bearings for my 1811 with one inch spindles. NAPA has one but it is not exactly the same dimensions as my originals. CC parts site has them for $15 each plus shipping. Does anyone know who else might sell the exact bearings? McMasters-Carr does not have them. I would prefer the sealed type. BTW, I did check the search function about this issue and found a lot of info but not the exact info that I needed. Thanks

Is there a number on one of the races of the bearing? If so, you can come near finding one that way.

No numbers anywhere on the bearing. The only thing on them is the name Worcester Mass LUTCO

Rudy, the bearing you need is a RF16-32-16-PP. I get mine at Motion Industries or McMAster has them (6384K373) http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/118/1141/=h18qwy

Here is what you need. It is available at any good Bearing Supply Outlet.

As Oak stated, they are also available from McMaster-Carr.

Default Thanks to all

I got two sets from ebay with free shipping. They were $30 per set but the seller claims that they are American made and not the Chinese ones from CCparts plus their price was $75 plus shipping. I tried the RCB # but it would not work on their web site for some reason. I went to McMasters and they told me that they didn't carry anything like that. I found many that were real close to the measurements that mine are but not quite the same. One thing for sure is that mine had a lot of play in them and did need replacing. Does anyone know how tight the washer and nut should compress the inner bushings on the wheel? I mean when tightened down should the wheel have any side to side play at all? I checked McMasters and they do have the correct bearing. It is exactly like the one I have but they cost $19 each plus shipping for the sealed. That is what I wanted but settled for the open kind because that's all the ebay guy sold. The ebay seller did suggest drilling and tapping a zerk fitting to the wheel to grease the bearings periodically.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
