Snowblower Question
I believe I have heard of a snowblower that has an adjustable mounting bracket so that it will fit both the wide and narrow frames. Does anyone know the model # of this blower if it does exist? I see a lot of snowblower attachments for sale but have no idea of which models fit what. Does a list exist that matches blowers to tractor model?

There are a few different models to choose from. The number designation is as follows, and I'm sure you have seen these numbers while searching before.... QA36, QA42 - these are the narrow frame 36" and 42" models that will only fit narrow frame tractors. Then there is QA36A, and QA42A, with the suffix of "A" meaning its adjustable between narrow, and wideframe. I have a QA42A that I have used on both narrow and wideframe tractors... Jeff (teet)

Look for a QA42'A' or QA36'A'.... the 2nd 'A' denotes the 'adjustable' feature. There is also just QA42's and QA36's that will only fit the narrow frame. I like the adjustable models, I looked hard and long and found 2 QA42A's this year in excellent shape with all accessories and paid $300 for each. The IH Registery has the setting-up manuals online so you can see what a complete unit looks like. Consider weights and chains as well, and a spring assist if you have manual lift. I have a 105 and my brother has a 125 and we will be setting them up with the blowers next month. We'll take pics and post here.
Can someone list the correct drive belt for a narrow frame application? The blower we got for my brother has a smaller belt than mine, and I know mine came off a 1000 WF, so one of us probably has the wrong belt....
