Default Cam Stop Question
Are the lift cam stops interchangeable or am I going to have to be part number specific. I am looking for one for my 2072 and Ive found some off of the wide frame tractors but none for a 2072. Parts tree shows different part numbers but they appear the same in the pictures. Any body tried different ones on their tractors?

The MTD ones are for sure different from the ones used on the WF tractors. I don't know where the change occurred. They don't look different until you try to use one in place of the other. BTDT.

The one I had to get for the 1711 is completely different than the wf's. It has a smaller diameter thread that is a fine thread, and there is a conical seat that it will seat into to help hold. Look and see what the BR's looks like and if it will fit. And if so you will know what type you need.
