Default 125 Brake Repair Question

Hi all, need a little help/info on how to get at the brakes in my 125. They are the internal style. The brakes didn't work when bought it, and the PO had unhooked the linkage that runs to the clutch/brake pedal, presumably because the brake actuating arm had seized up. I've split the tractor but am wondering how to get this actuating arm out? I don't see any snap/retaining rings on the pin that holds it in, and have been trying the PB Blaster bath and BFH with no success. Am I missing something?

I assume you're referring to the pin that the arm pivots on. The only thing holding it in is the square headed adjusting screw with the jam nut. The screw passes thru a groove in the pin. Remove the screw and you should be able to drive out the pin unless it's frozen in there in which case you may need to apply some heat to it.

Yup you have ID'd the correct part I was asking about. I've gotten the screw out so I will have to borrow a "red wrench" from a buddy it seems...

Don't put too much heat to it because I've heard of cast iron cracking if it gets too hot.
