I couldn't help myself..
I just happened on a fine hydro tractor today.. Paint was gleaming, tires were new, had a 42 inch deck and full hydraulics... not to mention it had a rear hydraulically operated three point setup.
14 HP Kohler, wheel weights, recent rebuild.. Headlights too. Gave the dude a check for $400 and went home smiling.. Too bad it is a (gravely ) Ariens..  I might just put a IH emblem on it just for kicks. It'll blend right in, and the neighbors will think I bought a Kubota. That'll fool 'em! His excuse for selling it.... He had his eyes on a bigger better one on Ebay.. I guess we aren't the only crazy ones out there..

Quietlines and narrow frames, mostly projects but I mow with a 1200 and have a 122 set up for pulls. Wandering the country bringing towers to wind farms everywhere, and bringing yellow stuff home to Texas. Also into flatfender jeeps.

Didn't get pics, but if you google Ariens GT14 you'll see what one looks like.. not as pretty as a CC but hey, to duplicate the hydraulics function I'd be spending almost as much. The threepoint didn't come with the cat O arms and center link, but everything is there to attach them to.

Arines they bought out New Holland Garden Tractor line in 72. They cheapened it up a little the following year. I had one of the last New Holland's made before the change. I had a 16 HP
New Holland was a good tractor close to CC.
