Default Blade Refurbish!

Here are the before and after pictures of my blade refurbish that I am going to put on one of my 129's that will soon be my brother's tractor. I hope that you can tell the difference between the two...

Thank you! I painted it using Sickle's paint titled "International Harvester Off White" for $28/gallon at my local tractor supply store-mixed with hardener and some thinner. It took a while, but as we all know--time well spent.

Next, I plan on doing the deck, the nose piece and grill frame, the hood and when I get some time, my 782 rear rims and deck....I'll try to remember to post some pics when I get to those projects.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
