Electric angle plow
I have an old electric lift laying around and was thinking about trying to use it for a power angle on a 42 inch plow. Has anyone tried this ? Or doese anyone have any thoughts on it. I have never used a electric lift ,so I dont know how much force (power) they have. Also would the worm gear take the repeated impact force that the plow would see from hiting the snow bank ?

I too have thought about it (haven't gotten very far). I have a rather large (probably too large) linear actuator in the garage and it would be great to have power angle. Not quite sure how to go about it though. Let me know if you go through with it and how it works out for you.
