I'd trade a crapsman for a set of 10.5x12 rims right now!
...If I had one to trade.  Anybody got a set? My neighbor has a crapsman.....wonder if he'll notice it missing?

Does the 1250 run?
IS it buried in a fence row? What attachments does it have? What else might be wrong with it? I would hate for you to get frustrated for trading a good running mower for a headache. Otherwise, do it!

I used to be a real Craftsman fan. They still make some pretty good stuff but not garden tractors, IMHO.
As someone already said, if you like tinkering with GT's then it's a no-brainer.  with your decision!!
