Default Pictures you all will enjoy

Farmer from where I used to live in Collins, IA collects mounted corn pickers, plows, etc. He is a nice guy who likes to share his toys and let others play. Here are some pictures of his annual get together.

Thanks for those pics. I miss seeing that kind of machinery around here. So many farmers have had to sub divide their property just to make ends meet and now all you see are houses everywhere there used to be beautiful farm land.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Don't see too many pickers around and in use any more.

Boy that brings back memories. I remember standing next to the elevator all day while my uncle was unloading gravity box after gravity box of cob corn. We would grab the cobs that weren't husked, and husk them before they got in the crib.
Our neighbor had the picker, it was an old 880 Oliver, and we hauled the wagons with a super C farmall. Ahh, the good old days of farming!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
