Hey guys,
Just wondering what you think of Denso spark plugs? I've seen them before, but never used them. I ordered some new plugs for the 1641 I just acquired that Sam is helping me with online just to top off an order, but to my surprise these are what showed up instead of the Champions that I ordered. It even says Champion on the packing slip. I guess they see them as an equivalent, do you? I've always used Autolite, Champion, or Bosch.

About the only plugs I've had trouble with are Champs. Did have a bad autolite a couple months ago in my 2182 with the Kubota gas engine. Went to NGK's for it.

I think Denso makes a good product. I never used their plugs but I'm sure they are a quality plug.

I have a set of Denso iridium plugs in my Dakota and they work great and just installed a Denso downstream O2 sensor also. I think they make a good product. I have had more problem with champion plugs by far than any other plugs I have ever used. Just my

Great. Thanks for the feedback. The Denso's actually look pretty nice out of the box, but I was just surprised at what I had received. I've always been a fan of Bosch and Autolite so I figured I'd get some opinions!
Thanks again!

What makes a champion plug bad? That's all my dealer carries, but they seem to work fine, or am I missing the big picture?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
