Default did a little more to the 782

Well got home from work and wasn't real tired so I decided to put the rear blade on my 782. Only problem was I don't have the cash for the spendy sleave hitch and only had the lower 2 point. Here are some pics...sure.glad I kept some of.my junk

That's nice! The rear blade looks good behind the 782.

For some reason it wouldn't post more then one in the first post but as you can see it has plenty of power..... No more jack needed. Also the reason I went this rout instead of a sleave hitch is because I can operate it completely seperate of my deck or thrower...so if I'm at my parents throwin snow I can back up to the garage door drop the rear blade and get everything out to hit with the thrower... Or if my mowing and I find a buldge (danged moles) I can smooth it. Or push/ pull dirt and fill in spots without removing the.deck. so what do you all think

Thanks for the complement. It feels great actually having the drive to do stuff again there for awhile I didn't even wanna look at my cub let alone wrench on em... Now just what to do next. So far I've done zero modifications to rather tractor and only.drilled a couple small holes to bolt brackets to the.implements so really nothing that I can't just take off and leave the.tractors untouched... I'm lovin it

im not even sure who made those one but it does look awfully close to yours. Somebody made it into the sleave hitch style so who knows what it was originly. And this one defiantly needs weight/downpressure but it works.great I like it anyway . And I think ye blade would look awesome on that super... Was thinking about turning mine UFO a convertable box blade. I dunno yet

Your IH 782 looks great and it looks like it's got enough power to get the blade down into the ground.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
