Well I have been using a wire wheel on the bench grinder that my grandfather bought back in the 80's, It still has about an inch of wire left after 30+ years of use, but I decided to get another one. I work at a hardware store, so I just picked up the cheapest 6" wire wheel they had and ran with it, and it seems to be holding up really well. No wires flying off and after probably 2-3 hours of continual use, I still have 6". The brand is Weiler Vortec, Crimped Wire Wheel, Coarse.

I ordered the nylon from McMasterCarr, http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-ca...eeving/=kok4z7, They have a lot of everything and they ship next day. I ordered the nylon sleeving on Monday night and it arrived Tuesday early afternoon.

IH our shops are looking much the same yours with a 104 and mine with a 102. You are way ahead of us though, good work.

A 70 with deck. 2 102s both with 42 in decks, one with creeper, 1 36 inch IH snow thrower CW36, 1 42 inch IH blade. 149 with mower. 2072 w 3 pt hitch, Johnny bucket, 60 in mower, 451 blower. Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

Well, I know that a lot of you wanted me to run this thing using the internal coil/magneto... but from the looks of it, it is shot. The casing around it is cracked. I have not tried it, but I doubt it will work.


On a plus side, I got my Emblem, Ornament and Oil Bath today!





EDIT: The coil/magneto inside the engine works just fine, plenty of spark. Now I am going to need a wiring diagram for having a electric start with a magneto coil. I am thinking I can just leave off the green wire from the V/R.
