Just joined. I had a 125 sold it. Have a 1450 that was OK until the head gasket blew out. Thinking of just parting it out - the boss said I have enough toys.
But, I just purchased a 1650 with a hydraulic snow blade and a 54" mower deck. The darn thing is in pristine condition showing only minimal wear and tear. The mower deck looks like it has been hardly used. The paint is awesome. I am planning to add power steering, an FEL - if I can afford it.......  Had to replace the original front tires. Problem with the gas gauge - the top plastic glass is broken and let's gasoline slosh out. Have ordered a new one from Patterson Acres. Also the gasoline shut-off valves seems to leak some. And at the risk of showing my ignorance, how does one tell what is the on or off position? I will try to post some pics as soon as I find out how. I want to do a complete restoration of this tractor and I have reviewed several of the other member's restored tractors and the many discussions, suggestions and expert advice. I will thank all of you in advance...
