Default Mule Drive?

What exactly is a mule drive and how do I get/make one?

I have a 1650 and a chipper and I want to be able to run it off from the Cub.

This is typical for a Mower Deck. The 59M Chipper has it's own unique front mounting bracket.

So if I can come up with a mounting system for the chipper it is possible to run it off from the front of the engine with some unique pulley arrangements. to clear the sheet metal and turn it the proper way and speed.

So the big question is: what brand is the chipper? If it's a 59M, it should have it's own attachment system for a cub. If it's missing, it could be fabricated. If it's an off brand chipper or something else, with skill and time, a subframe could be made and it could be attached. Really depends on the size of the chipper.

I am not clear on what you are attempting. Here is the Owners Manual for the 59M Chipper.... 59M

It is a Shred-It chipper that came with the 1650. I will have to go brush the snow off from it and look for a part number. It has a piece of threaded rod through it's mounts that makes it look like it was used the the cub at one time.

I just cannot figure out how they mounted it.

I will get some pictures in the morning and post them for you guys to see.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
