LT1050 problem
Hi all. Was wondering if yall could help me out.
I have a Cub Cadet LT1050 (2007-before) with the Kohler Courage 23. Problem is it wont charge the battery, i went and bought a new battery and it ran, but when i went to restart it it would not crank over, but if i use a hotshot it will crank over and run. ive been looking around and what i seem to come up with it could be the Voltage Regulator. Not sure if that acts like an alternator so im not sure this is the problem. i looked this up on ebay and wondered if this would be the part i need to fix my mower. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Voltage-regu...item3cba3fa6b8 Thanks!!

Did you test the stator to see if it's putting out AC? You may want to down load the manual for your engine from Kohler, I think this is it.
