Default what mower deck fits on a super?

i have a haban deck for my 2182 but i need a complete side spindle, and im having a hard time finding one. the deck is not worth a brand new spindle, since u have to buy each piece seperate now. so i need to know what other deck will fit the supers or if anyone has one has a haban spindle they would like to sell?

Have you checked with the site sponsors above. They and some other parts sellers should be able to obtain the whole spindle in good used condition. Don't rely on just their websites, you may have to call them as they have alot of things available not on their websites.

The 60" is unique as far as I know. Why can’t you replace what is bad? Should be just bearings and seals that would be bad.

That splains the problem. If the rest is in good shape I'd bite the bullet and go for a new one if you can't find a good used one. They had a couple other decks for the Supers but the Haban is the best. You may find a good Haban if you dig around and keep yours for parts.

According to the manual I have you can mount a 46" 48" 54" and 60". The 48" on my diesel seems like a good deck, but I think you would have more trouble finding a deck and undercarriage than simply fixing what you have.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
