OCC Members,
It is again time for members to send in Picture of the Week submissions. I get the pleasure of picking the best pics for posting! However, the well is running dry, and I need a new crop of submissions (and yes, I do understand mixed metaphors!)! Please read the instructions for submitting POTW pics. Send your submission to cubfixer@gmail.com that's me! Winter is over (in most areas). I would like to see some spring plow days submissions, some video (if I can figure out how to post them (need help with this, guys!)), and some cub cadet beauty shots. When summer gets here, some shots (or video) of cubs mowing lawns, doing work hauling stuff, etc, would be interesting. Remember, this is your website. Help me to keep it interesting! Thanks!

Yup, I sent one a long while ago, and have yet to see it posted. I pretty much gave up after that.

Each and every one replying here has sent in pics for POTW. Its true. And I will get around to posting some as POTW. But not all will be a POTW candidate, since I pick the best pic (to me!) from what I have in my in-box. Some I am holding for the proper season, so it may have greater interest. Its not like I have hundreds of submissions, usually 2 or 3 per wweek. Since I do have 2 or three per week, then you see it is impossible to enable all pics as POTW. Maybe I should include a bunch of pics at the end of the month? Just thinking. Some pics are beauty shots, and I love those, but I also like the pics of cubs at work, and I recognise that all cubs are not trailer queens.
I know that everyone that submits a pic to POTW wants to see their cub as POTW, but it probably won't happen. Sometimes two or three pics are submitted bu the same person in the same email. I can only pick one (or none as the case may be). It has been the custom that a moderator will inform someone that they have a POTW worthy pic. The person that has posted the pic in a forum should take the hint and forward it to me for consideration for the POTW. While I am on my soapbox, please take nice pics of your cubs. Take the extra effort to make it a nice pic. If your phone camers is foggy, I may include it, but it will not be as enjoyable as a good, crisp pic. If you have ideas that could make POTW better, pleas comment to me. Thanks!

I've always have done the POTW wothy post and it's just my
John has full control over which pics get picked. I do it to remind everyone to submit pics to John. I've been happy with how POTW has been going since we got it back up and running. It's not easy keeping this going. Keep sending in your pics and keep taking pics. I've said this many times POTW is one of my favorite features on OCC. I love the weekly surprise.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
