Found this forum while looking for comments about model 2166. I found one last winter and purchased after looking at reviews. Must say I think it's a great tractor. Did all maint. per manual and mowed couple days ago. Couldn't be happier with results of machine and mowing job. Looked over this forum and searched 2166 and read all threads. Looking forward to using the knowledge I got and will post any problem I run into. Only have one con and that is the blades shutting off in reverse because I'm afraid I'll wear out the pto clutch. Thanks for the forum.

The pto clutch will be fine. That's a great safety feature that prevents you backing over someone behind you that you might not have seen. They might get run over but the blades will be off.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
