As for collecting Cubs. I told the wife i'll stop when I have the same number of cub's as her dad has AC tractors. Which is about 12 or 14.

Congrats on two 1811's! I don't see a thing wrong with that.

Most wives don't understand John Wayne; don't think Larry, Curly and Moe are funny; and can't understand collecting something like garden tractors. But, put a little good will in the bank with her on something else and she'll get over it!

I doubt if CadPlans wife started out liking it. Leadslingingdaddy's wife even buys him a tractor once in a while.

As long as the grass gets cut and she can park her car in the garage mine doesn't care. I had to put her out of the garage for a couple of days so she is grumbling a little this week

Well I was hoping to get some seat time today. Wanted to test the "parts tractor".
But we had a sick grandson 102 fever and two hours of rain, maybe tomorrow.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
