Work for a large insurance company, in the Commercial Ins. Product department. We write forms, do state law/regulation compliance work and implement changes in the processing systems. You wouldn't believe how regulated insurance is. Makes me really hate government sometimes. Been at it for 33 yrs. here. Hoping to retire in about 5-7 yrs., if those communists in Washington don't ruin my investments again.

I have worked for IBM for almost 32 years servicing mainframe computer stuff. Worked on high-speed check processors, large laser printers, and just about any type of device that could be accessed by a mainframe. They've forced me to delve into the server world in the last several years. I have supported the world's largest retailer, better known as Walmart, since 1995.

I get to wrench on these....

Used to do auto body for bout 13 years, then went into children's ministry for about 4 years. Now I get to work on something I've always had interest in. I can honestly say I love going to work! Been doing this for 6 years now.

Way back in high school I worked the summers away picking strawberries for a truck farmer, worked at several local christmas tree farms, and worked on a hybred seed corn farm. Worked a short while in construction as a laborer and figured that was not for me. I then got a job as a bookkeeper/ office manager for a fuel oil Distributor. After three years I joined the Air National Guard and trained in the human resource field. I then started to work full time for the Air Guard and continued for 35 years there. I am now retired and really enjoy working on my cubs, spending time with my 6 grandkids, working on my cubs, hunting, and did I mention working on my cubs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
