Default tow behind mower

Hello, has anyone had much experience with tow behind mowers? I was thinking about purchasing one to pull behind my 100 or 106? [44" or 60"] I did not know if this is to much to ask of these machines? no belly mower will be used only the pull behind. Thanks for any advice.

I have a couple tow behind setups. The big one is on my BX it has a 60 finish mower and behind that are two 60" Swishers, cuts 12' at a pass the other setup is a 50" Bush Hog flail mower that I tow with my 71/121 (a 71 with a Mag12) a 100 should have no problem at all towing a 60" Swisher unless you have STEEP hills to deal with.

lol thats why i bought the cub 71 pulling tractor, but that mower is more of a man that 71. My eyes over seen the knowledge of the Roseman mower, darn mower is heavy. Real heavy need a bigger tractor to tow it. the 71 tows it but after a few passes i feel it is too much strain on her. looks cool when she is pulling it though. thats my winter project this year going to fully restore the Roseman. Not sure what i going to pull it with but will paint it to match. Either a allis B or C or maybe a lowboy. still deciding

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
