Default What are the blades sizes of the 48" deck?

The blades that are on it now are very old and measure approx 14.25" x2 & 19.25". I say approx because they've been sharpened more then a few times the edges are ground down pretty good. I've always used, used blades. But I'm looking at new blades. The cub dealer has them but it's a bit pricey so I was looking elsewhere. The sizes shown are 14.5 & 20" which from my experience with this deck, if the blades are to much longer then my first measurements they will hit. Is that a typical issue and they just need trimmed on the ends or am I overlooking something? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks. Maybe my belt needs to be tighter and they just over lap. The motivation for blades is my are well past there prime and they are leaving uncut grass lines where they would overlap.

Yea, but it got moved. But I didn't know it. Thought it didn't posted for some reason and re posted. But then it to disappeared from the forum so I searched and found it here in implements along with my other pat. If OCC wants to move the posts that's fine can do what they want on their site but might be nice to notify the poster as to not cause confusion.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
