Lew, I needed another tractor for my IH #2 garden cart!

Yes, this 1250 wire mess is just that. All cobbled up, splices here and everywhere.

Thanks! Learning more about these IH Cub Cadets. I need now to learn about this k301 wire system, and that of the 1250.

One problem is that the brake pedal is tuff to push down, and return back up. I'm thinking it has some thing to do with the rear brake system, ?

You bet! The fender pan is ate up. Must be the operator had salt on his/her boots as the 1250 had tire chains for winter work, I'm guessing. This is going to be a fun project!

I like pictures too, lol!

Thanks Zippy! I don't know how much more the motor is going to last with the piston being like it is, but no less should run!

I have compression, fuel, and spark! Just don't know how to get all that tied into the tractor yet. My first wide frame, and the newest IH Cub Cadet I ever had!

I read any threads where the most notable compliment anyone can think of is 'nice seat'. (I say this tongue in cheek, it speaks to the amount of work this one has)

Of course, I have my own completely rusted junk project going with a QA thrower. Hope I make as quick of progress that you are on this one!
