![]() Click that for a video of the new lift system operating. So nice compared to Armstrong. I hooked up some non floating straps to the sleeve hitch and I was able to rip out weeds and plants as I trucked along. I get decent down pressure. Its a little slow and the garden is small so I had to do some waiting for it to go up or down. I think plowing the driveway it would work better as you have more time between shifting to control the switch.

Great to see action footage of a cub with an implement that I'd love to have doing what they are designed to do!! Thanks for sharing the video. Glad the electric lift is working out so well for you!

If I could just find a bunch of these actuators I could make a lot of money selling these in kits. Right now buying them actuators new cheapest I could sell the set up for is $300. And you can buy a hydro lift for $400

Nice job on the electric lift. It is a little slow but I don't think the Cub electric lifts were any faster.

Thanks guys. I want to get a little more time on it and make sure everything will continue to work and then I'll take the bracket off to paint it. My main concern is the front dozer blade. I'll pull that down at some point this week and make sure I can still hook it up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
