Default Rightway Loader??? (got one)

I am just about to send a paypal for a "Rightway" loader, that I have never seen. It was on craigslist on a John Deere 316 (as seen in the pic), and didn't sell. I emailed the guy, we talked, and he agreed to split them up, and is giving me a KILLER deal on the loader. He says it's a rightway brand, which I've never heard of, and can't find any info on. I entertained to him that it may be a "kwikway" and he said he's sure it's a rightway. No leaks, cylinders work good, has it's own pump and controls which function well. I think I got a very good deal. Anyone know anything about them? Anything I should know? He took the bucket from something else and welded railroad spikes on for tines He said it was on a Hydro Cub in the past, so fitting it shouldn't be a problem. Now I just have to find a good deal on a super to put it on. This isn't the same loader I posted about before that I bought for $75. That one was a little too wide for a cub, so I sold it for $200........................ :biggrin2.gif:

Does the lack of responses mean that "rightway" doesn't exist as a brand, or just that noone cares?

I think the seller might be a little confused...looks like a kwik way to me. I just punched in "kwik way loader" on google images, and it looks identical to several of the ones pictured.

That's what I told him, but he was sure it was a "rightway". It makes me feel better about it that I was right though, I know kwikways are quality.

The only thing the same as Kwikway is the self leveling. No fluid storage in uprights, tapered arms, totally different bucket.
googled"wrightway"and came up with this.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
