No it's not the paint, I think when I straitened everything out I may have been better off leaving things bent.
$236 was the price.

Got the push blade on the 1650 today. But not without a few glitches.
When I ordered new hoses I used the ones the PO had on the blade, and.... the one is the wrong length, so short
So had to route it through the back until I get a new one made, or maybe it'll be fine where it is, we'll see.
Also the lift rod is to long, not getting enough lift. So now I put the tractor up on 2x4's and will have to measure it tomorrow and cut it off and re-weld it back together. Other than those few things I think it went well.
Used a clamp to get the sub frame attached to the main, seemed to work alright. Whatever it takes
Sure is nice with the hydraulic turn
As you can see in the picture, not much ground clearance.
Also re-painted the cylinder for you Lew

Looking great Todd! Glad you got the cylinder fixed! No more leaky leaky! Get the "bugs" worked out and you'll be in business!

Looks great, Todd! Your blade lifts the same height my 782 does.

So what happens when you swivel it Allen, does the corners dig in? Mine does, that's why I'm thinking about shortening the lift rod. I've got the tractor up on blocks to adjust it properly. Funny thing is it worked fine for the initial run before I tore it down, but I'm thinking now I sent the wrong lifting rod along with my buddy and his 122
I had them laying side by side and never gave it a second thought at the time

I'll have to check and see, Todd. I've never tried to angle the blade before. I'm also thinking about shortening the lift rod also.

Do you have the correct lift arm bracket mounted on the frame? It looks a lot like a NF blade bracket on a WF tractor. Perhaps this is a reason why it doesn't lift high enough.

The hyd. cylinder looks good.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
