Sounds to me like it IS his...... now.

In my book, the 3 year rule applies and he can do what he pleases with the 107. If you leave something of yours at my house for 3 years I can almost guarantee it is no longer around unless you have made these arrangements with me ahead of time.

I'm not sure if it was just an easy way for him to say I don't want to get rid of it or if he really feels like the owner may come get it anytime. I figured either way I will continue to ask him about it. I go past the Agway Powershop he works at everyday on my way home from work.

I got all the small stuff painted last night. All that is left is too strip and paint the blower housing and augers. I hope I can fit the housing inside our blast cabinet so I don't have to strip it by hand. According to UPS, I should have that splined coupler I ordered Monday. I'm hoping the splines are the same as on the gearbox.

This is how I paint my springs.

I also got my cab together and sitting on the tractor. I will make some sheetmetal filler panels to seal around the hood.

I like the idea of expanding the springs to paint. Will try that next time.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
