Good, you have a sweet 1782. I even thought about a road trip from Galax VA to pick it up. Hope you keep it, they don't make anything close these days.

Thanks guys! I do think it is a good one. Now I have to get back on the 782 Kubota installation.

I'm in about the same boat. I've been trying to sell my 1572 all optioned out with front blade. Had 3 "consider it sold be there tomorrows", lots of inquiries, but still have the tractor somehow. Part of me wants to downsize but I've used the tractor to plow the garden, mulch leaves, grade our big driveway with new gravel, and moved other mowers with it... all within the last week or two and all on the same tank of diesel. guess we really can't lose either way.

I've been bitten by the smoker bug...lol. I'm thinking of possibly getting rid of the super and 782 to find one.

Now Allen...... you know the drill. We don't SELL cubs to get MORE cubs. You just add another to the fleet and have 4!!!

DITTO!

Allen you would hate your self if you did that.

I could see you selling Jenn's 2000 series but not the rest of your fleet.

I didn't know Jenn had a 2000 series! If you keep it, I guess that would make the number 5!

I plan to keep the 782. Honestly, I'd like to trade the super for a smoker. Something like a 782D, 882 or 1512, then I can use my front blade.

Jonathan, this is Jenn's 2130. We won't get rid of it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
