Well turns out, its not as cool as we once thought. It turns out its a decal-ed 149. I bought it and had it dropped off by the seller when I was not here, who does a bunch of things with me. When I told him its a 149 he is giving some of my money back since its not worth as much when I checked it out by serial number. It's a 149 so just a warning to you out there, even us that do it as a job, still don't win them all.

Did you check the engine, as well? I have put 149 rearends in 129's before. It might still be a 169 by engine! Regardless, it is a still a cool looking cub with a loader!

that's how I knew it was not a 16hp I checked the head and its a 9 bolt head well it like I say you do lots of deals every once in a while you get one that don't do like ya planned this is one of those but I don't let it get me down just another day at work

Very nice setup Ray, it's nice to see a good looking loader I wouldn't mind finding one myself.. Too bad the tractor isn't what was advertised but heck you win some you lose some...I'd bet you win more than lose...kick back have a beer and revel in the fact that you have a nice loader and some of your money back...lol
