That's a nice looking 682. Great that it has the cast iron rear end. Not a $600 682, but then again I'm a cheap ba***rd.

Nice, very nice! A IH Cub Cadet 682 has been the only 82 series I ever operated on, the 82 series are great tractors!

Nice 682 bro... looks like the one I had with 782 lift parts instaled. Just saw one tonight. There is a 682 just 2mi from me. with 44'' deck and push blade for 450. Going to look at it tomorrow.

Cool, what parts did you need for the 782 conversion?

All the lift parts from the dash. The dash if you dont want to cut a hole in yours for the lift handle . Lift cylinder , rock shaft. Some 682s have a ported pump. If not you'll need that to.

Iif I pick up this 682 im going to go look at. I have the parts from a scraped 882. Then it'll have duel ports, hydro lift and hydro lines to the front.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
