Well lets see, leave it in your truck. take it to work and drain the oil. put it on a pallet and wire it down. Then I send speedie to come pick it up.

Just came in from a joy ride with it. It had some noticeable issues since I first heard it run this morning. First, the condenser was bad. It would run very rough at high idle and die. So, pulled one out of the parts shelf and fixed that. The negative side coil nut was loose too. And the battery kept losing charge, so I noticed that one VR wire was broke. I spliced it up and it was good to go, back to charging. Still need to change oil, grease the very tight front end, and find a new air cleaner...

Here are some close up pics!

We shall see!

It also needs the lift handle fixed and all the PTO linkage reinstalled.

It also has the dreaded PO cut out above the transmission! See above pics.

I like 73s. They look like their bigger brothers on the front till you get to the steering wheel then it's like 10 years back as a 70.

I'm surprised the backwards hood ornament didn't catch your eye....

I agree with the above statement! A combo of old and new looks...I always wanted one simply because I liked the white metal dash.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
