Default Cadet 80
I have a cadet 80 and need to know what type of hydrostatic oil to use and how much to put in it. When I got the tractor it was full to the cap, and after warming it up it would stop pulling it self. Any help would be great.

I used hytran in my old 80 and never had a issue. I dont remember the amount

so this tractor is going to be more of toy for me,how do I go about to speed things up some?What pully's do I change or can I speed it up with the hydrostatic transmission?thanks

You really wont get a whole lot of speed out of that thing. Get a gear driven lawn tractor and alot more can be done.....I used to play with 'll junk LTs when I was younger and I to my early teens (couldn't afford a quad) those are the best to use. Old Murray's and craftsmanship were our usual finds. Most can be had pretty cheap without decks. I wouldn't tear up that 80 for it
