I've herded one of these bad boys down the road all to many times too. As seen in the pic, it's about 20' wide.

I was on my way to work, going west on I-70. In Columbus it's 4 lanes wide and it splits, the two right lanes go to I-71 north and the two left lanes continue on 70 westbound, with the right lane of those two having to exit at 4th street. I'm coming up to the split and notice a guy in the inner lane to I-71 suddenly veer left, over to the 4th St. exit lane, right in front of the guy in front of me. He's blowing his horn and give the middle finger salute to the guy now just ahead of him, who is returning the gesture. There's some vehicular bobbing and weaving going on too. By now we are solidly in the 4th St. lane and the guy in front, the perp in this case, pulls over and the other guy stops too. They are both getting out of their cars and something catches my eye in the rear view mirror... flashing red. Turns out the Flying Tire Salesman (Ohio Highway Patro) was right behind me and saw the whole confrontation. I slow way down, the OHP goes around me on the right and pulls up behind these two clowns. The guy in the front car was headed back toward me and you should have seen the look on his face when the patrolman pulls up! He just slumped, like a balloon that just lost it's air. So sometimes, there is a cop around when you need them.

My favorite was back around 71. I was going skiing in Colorado, on the way to Vail going through one of the passes snow covered road. I’m driving an IH Scout in 4 wheel drive and 2 yahoo’s pass me like I’m stopped in a Corvette. Well a couple corners later we come upon them, they have the Vette stuffed into the snow bank nose first and all you could see was the tail lights LMAO.

I never had too much problem with my FIL combine. It was a smaller Gleaner with a 4 row corn head.

I guess the pointed end of the header gave folks an intimidating view

The only real problem I ever had, was when meeting someone.... they WANTED to get out of the way... just didn't know where to go.
Machines that size are pretty intimidating.

Makes for making the turn...... kinda tight with a 236" wheelbase tractor and a 42' hopper bottom. I come up to the stop in the left lane so I can make the right turn without hitting all the cars. I'm facing south, turning west. Guys comes up to the sign from the west wanting to go north. I am clearing blocking the road. We sit..... he motions for ME to back up. I shake my head no and wait. He rolls his window down, points north, and and waves me to back up. I shake my head no, point east and wave him to move on. He starts waving his arm over and over for me to move back so he can turn. There is NO ONE BEHIND him BTW. I lean forward on the steering wheel put my arms up and wait...... he finally went.

Not to mention it is like a 200 foot drive to go around the block if a grain truck is 'prepped for turning' at that 4 way stop.

One night, I took a road trip to Corning NY to pick up a three wheeler. I had a 96 Chevy Tahoe and an enclosed trailer. Not the smallest rig on the road minus semis of course. Well it was nice going down to get the wheeler, but on the way back, of course a blizzard. Well I'm trying to get on a one lane on ramp, going slow because I don't wanna crash into the people ahead of me....and this guy pulls up next to us kind of swerving motioning like he's going to ram into the side of me..I don't pay any attention because this is a one lane on ramp...well he finally got ahead of me and slowed down to around 20mph just to agitate me, it worked. Well he ended up speeding off after we got onto the high way....well about 5 or 6 miles down...we see the state troopers lights, and there he is, upside down in the median. Made my day!!!

Another funny one. It was late at night, coming home from Walmart with my girlfriend in my old 87 ford pickup. These two guys roll up next to me in a beat up jeep Cherokee. They look at me...rev their engine and point at the light. They wanted to race. I didint want to so I didn't respond. Well they kept reving their engine and I look over just in time to hear a ping ping ping sound and smoke come rolling out from under the hood of the jeep....just as the light turned green...so as an old timer would do....I just rolled away from the light on my merry way. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

Another racing story...me and my buddy were on our way to a winery and it was a two lane road...we had an old timer...must have been late 70s, early 80s in a 90s Chevy pickup next to us, and some punk looking kid in a Honda civic with the fartcan exhaust and Kmart body kit in front of us. We roll up to the stop light and the kid in the civic revs his engine and points to the light and try's to get the old timer to race him...meanwhile me and my buddy are thinking there is no way this guy is going to even pay any attention to these kids....but to our shock the old guy revs his engine, and drops it in gear and smokes the tires and takes off....the kid in front of us tried to catch up but the old timer had him licked. That was a very first in my book. I'll never forget that. Never laughed so hard in my life!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
