Default 882 diesel alternator coversion
I searched for this topic and had no luck! I have an 882 diesel and want to put a
alternator with a built-in regulator instead of the fixed magnet alternator and rectifier. I found a few on Amazon but I'm not sure what to use. The one I'm looking at is for Kubota Tractor Compact, Excavators, Diesel 17hp-48hp, 34070-75602. Will this work and is it still small enough to fit in the same place and turn in the right direction without modification.This the first time I have posted anything and I'm just getting into fixing up my cubs. With all the knowledge on this site it shouldn't be hard to find my answers. Thank you all in advance.

AWSOME! I knew you guys were the ones to ask! I have already done the starter conversion last year so now this will fix my last issue with my smoker and I can turn my attention to my 129 that has been sitting for 5 years. Thank you!

Thanks to all! I HAVE FOUND A HOME! I can't believe all of the great info I have already found on this site!Plus you are as crazy about Cubs as I am. They don't make them like this any more!
