from my SN # page for IH built machines looks like built in 1980 , have fun be carefull of the engine it's a series 1 ,U can't run them on side hills long, their dippers of oil not pressurized system ! good luck !

Thanks Mech on the key switch. But no key switch either. The PO converted to a toggle and push button. It works well, and in many ways I prefer it. By no means original, but functional.

I think I am going to part it. I have another tractor that is leaking in the rear end. Might just swap this one out (or swap it out from under my 1811 which has the aluminum rear). The engine I listed in the for sale section.

Although at the moment its out there soaking the steering wheel preparing to pull it (pita).
