Gravely 20G - Help?
First... My apologies for posting off brand...
Have an opportunity to do some horse trading for a Gravely 20G w/60" deck. Very nice condition and low hours. Supposedly... everything works... except... the PTO... I know nothing about these machines except they seem to be pretty well built, and complicated to work on. Hence, I'm not too keen on diving into a transaxle that looks like a Swiss watch. I've searched the net for additional info and have found limited information. The gravely site charges a fee to join (ok Mr. Bedell, I guess we all owe you a few bucks!). As I do not intend to keep the Gravely, i really have no interest in joining. I would appreciate any input from the forum that might have some experience with these tractors. Obviously, I don't want another money pit, and I certainly don't need/want anymore half-ton paperweights behind the garage. Any info posted here would help. Or please PM me. Thank you all for your time and consideration. (My next post will be on topic about the unpleasant surprise I found while prepping the IH 782 for sale. The hits just keep on coming!!!)
