I too would like to see a pic of this pump. Yes, that model number exists as a Sundstrand unit, but unless it's some sort of off the wall replacement, it never came in that tractor. I'd say, it's been replaced. The only tractor that I can find that it came in is a John Deere and perhaps a Jacobson. I'd like to know where you were getting parts for it at, as by the PDF I downloaded, it doesn't look anything like either the HG or SS unit that should be in the cub.

I have paper copies of the parts manual. The 1541 has three distinct variations. Two of them use Sunstrands and one uses Hydrogear. (SU and HG in the parts breakdown). One of the versions even has the old rag joint.
