Anybody in Georgia?

Hi Fellow Cubbers. I live in McDonough, GA. I was a member of OCC back in the early 90's I think...but was inactive for a number of years. A friend of mine in PA Kurt got me into IH Cub Cadets back then. So, I am back here again and was wondering if there are some people in Georgia (Atlanta South Area) or anywhere else I could consult with about reconditioning my old 682. I may need some parts or other technical advice. And of course I would be more than eager to share anything I know as well. Please contact me and maybe I could explain some of the problems I am having getting it running again. I had heart surgery 2 years ago and am doing fine now, also playing my guitar and singing the oldies for the seniors in the Atlanta Area....WILL IT RUN AGAIN? OH YES! I have faith in it. Thanks for any advice. And it is GOOD to be back.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
