The price was right Todd, so you don't have much in it right now except a lot of cleaning and frustration--that may be put mildly. However, I believe that you found it or it found you for a reason and it will turn out to be a really nice tractor for you. The metal and frame seemed to be in really nice shape with no rust that I could see from the pictures. When you get done with it, you will know what you have with little to no surprises!

I think it has a lot of potential and I've seen others come back from worse. I like it too. 125s are one of my favorite tractors. When I got my 147 the PO had the fuel tank on backwards. It had fuel flow issues until I got it turned the other way.

Got it to run today with the spray bottle, carb is varnished up pretty good. I think I figured out why the fuel tank was on backwards.
On the replacement engine the coil is mounted up to high on the blower housing that the plug wire is in the way of the fuel bowl.
Time will tell. Have the carb soaking over night.

That's why mine was backwards too. Dropped the coil as far down on the bracket that it would go and ran the spark plug wire around accordingly. Looks kina funky but it works.
