Default Bagger won't fit

Bought a 190-678 bagger and it fit perfectly until I got to the deck. My mower is an LTX1046VT. Sooooo, I was wondering if I ordered the part that attaches to the deck that fit my tractor, would it hook up to the tube going to my bagger.

Now, some of yal are probably asking "Why'd he buy the wrong bagger, dummy". Well, found it at a garage sale for $40. NEVER USED. Got on the internet on my phone and looked it up. First site I saw said it fits all 46" CC. There was another guy trolling around it, so I jumped on it, haha.

BTW, the deck opening is not even close to the bagger attachment size or shape. Mine is long and not very wide. The bagger attachment is taller and not near as long.

Thanks in advance,
Murph

Deals are where you find them. With a little research you will get it to fit. Take some measurements and find the part you think will work. Trial and error and a little ingenuity is all it takes. $40 is a great deaL....you do know what they list for, don't you?

Thanks Willy! I know I got a heck of a deal! I found the "chute" that fits my mower, guess I'll order it and see if it'll fit into the next tube. Or I may drive into town and see my CC dealer and see if he has one!

Go visit your dealer. You need the correct mounting kit to mount whatever model bagger you have on your machine. He will need the model of the bagger plus the model numbers of your machine and deck to determine if indeed your bagger was even meant to be mounted on that particular tractor.

It may even not have been in which case it's time for "Cobble Craft 101" or offer your "find" up for sale and search for the correct bagger and mount kit for your rig.

I've been keeping my eyes peel for a bagger and correct kit for my GTX2154LE now for a year. New ones are not cheap and folks that offer up used ones never seem to know or have the model numbers listed in the ads.

Never the less, you got a great deal for $40 and I hope you can get it to fit.

BTW, I need 19A40004100 bagger and 19A40018100 mount kit for my unit.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
