Default It's been a while.

I haven't posted anything on here for a long while and a lot has happened since then. To begin I got another quietline! a 1650 with a very poor restoration job(hand painted) and a junk transmission, the idiot who owned it before me had torqued down one of the rear end cover bolts too tight and broke the mount and the mount ground up in the transmission and there is metal shavings everywhere and the ugly nose cone was welded on the original hood. I've have since then put the nosecone and hod from my old 1250 onto it and I'll end up putting the 1250 tranny in it too.. As for my 1450 I took the old smoking oval cylinder engine that no longer ran out and put the good running engine from my 1250 into it. So now I have another 1250 with a hydraulic lift and headlights. I'm probably forgetting something and if I remember I'll post it on here. If you have red this far, good for you and thank you for reading.

As of now it sits in the shed waiting for us to gather enough money set aside to bore the engine professionally. We are also gathering other stuff for it a rebuild kit for the PTO, a muffler, a decal kit, and just small odds and ends. We plan on bringing it to some shows along with our original and any other tractor.

Hope your keepin busy too!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
