When I bought mine, it was shipped by wrapping it in the clear plastic film with an address label on it. Worked just fine shipping it that way. That is what I would do, personally.

If you have a fastenall store near you try them to save a few $$.

But then the other person should have one nearby also.

just slap the label on with some packing tape over top to make sure it stays on, no need to wrap it. we get tractor bumpers in at work all the time this way.

What shipper are you using?
As some will not accept a shipment unless it is boxed or crated.
Let alone just wrapped with cardboard or plastic.

UPS charges extra for no package, exposed wood and irregular shaped packages. anything over a certain size gets a extra charge to if its to light for the package size to.
its difficult shipping things reasonably that don't have allot of value . it'll probably cost as much to ship as you sold it for.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
