Todd,
Getting that 125 up in the air will help. Your going to be doing some serious work on the front end to get the new narrow front end mounted. I will be watching.
I know its a lot of work but are you considering and clean up and paint for the 125? Dash tower looks to be in pretty good shape.
(My open utility trailer project fell through, leaves me more time to work on tractors I guess)
Regards,
Chris

Got the rest of the re-paint stripped off today. Looks better already.
No Chris, no painting, that ended with the 100, my first and only

OK, having a dilemma here.
I need to replace the O-rings in these two center housing plugs. I took the skid plate off and need to loosen up the suction tube to move it off to the side.
I DO NOT want to split this tractor, and see no reason if I get the tube off to the side far enough.
Question is. Is there anything special I need to know once I get the tubes disconnected. Fluid has been drained. To reconnect, just wrap the threads with plumbers tape?
Thanks

NO TAPE! Just replace the O-rings and your good to go. The o-ring seals it. If any tape gets in right there...... not good. Besides, it's a waste. The plug threads aren't tapered (pipe thread), so tape wouldn't help anyway.

I don't see any reason to spit the tractor. Like you said, just pull the pipe so you can get to it, pull the plugs, spin a new o-ring on, and good to go! Oh, on the fitting for the pipe..... no tape their either. They use a feral. No tape needed.

Todd,
Learning about oil leaks from you guys this morning. You are good at finding these types of problems I usually find them aft the tractor is complete
The paint removal and diss assembly look good. Gives me ideas if i want to take my 125 apart some day.
Are you sure you can get away with making this a narrow front end and not painting it??? There could be some type of state law that forces you to do it!
Regards,
Chris

Thanks Chris, but I'm passing on the painting thing.
Got an idea. You should hook up the 250 to the "new" mobile home and take a ride over and paint it for me.
If nothing else we could have a good B.S. session.

Got some more done on the 125 today.
Pulled the steering off today to get things ready for the narrow front.
Big surprise, dirty, dirty, dirty.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
