Not the hitch on the planter. He attached it to his Brinly adapter because it let him raise the hitch, which in turn made it lift higher and get the tongue up enough to clear the rear tires and make turning easier.

No, I wasn't there. He came in the shop yesterday to help me and was telling me about it. I knew that's what he had been doing. I told him the pics were cool, and he asked it I'd post them. He thought you guys would enjoy!

Yep he was right very enjoyable pics. I wish I had pics of my dad and my uncle using a garden tractor and a 1 bottom horse drawn plow. One drove and one steered the plow. Actually worked pretty well.

Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

I'm guessing that's a one row planter? It looks wide enough for two rows. Is there a way I can enlarge the picture to see it better? I've seen a Earthway planter hooked to a sleeve hitch. Thanks for pics.

Two row planter. Brings back memories.
And we plowed with the one bottom plow, drawn by mules or horses. I began plowing ( We called it, "turning" the ground), when I was still in grade school. One person drove and plowed, with the "lines" tied together and looped over the left shoulder, around the back, and under the right arm. You steered, by twisting the upper body, with an occasional tug on a line, with one hand.
